




'' How can we provide support through the new function? '' It is the most challenging problem that Eslite needs to solve. Therefore, we have established four steps to redefine the value of Eslite, which helps us to focus on the different timing that customers would encounter when they use the app.
Emphasize the service landscape to express the branding expression

Provide helpful services which can encourage users to become members of Elite

Make users to use the new app when they need support and increase the usability of the existing app

Promote Elite by sharing information proactively and establish bondings between customers

There are two factors that we aim to find out --- When is the most accurate timing we can provide the services , and what kinds of information can truly benefit users when they are shopping at physical stores ?

We interviewed six targeted customers ( aged 25-40 ) who tried to search for specific products at Eslite physical stores. This can help us focus on the difficulties that users have met when they search for favorite products.


We also collect shopping experiences of the customer and make a pain point map to gain insights. The map focuses on the timing that costumers need support and define the forms of services that users may need.
Based on the shopping map and interviews, we found some problems that desperately need to be solved.


Through the results above, it's more easy for us to find out the pain points and consumers' needs.

To express the inner value of Eslite, which aim at presenting the possibilities in life, we use bright and energetic color to emphasize the diversity of Eslite.


Through the research, we can define the helpful information and functions that can benefit users when they are shopping in Eslite physical stores.


We have designed five main pages that include feature functions of the new APP.

To promote seasonal products, Eslite would launch "Eslite proposal" every month.
The proposal contains different kinds of topics, events, and key visuals, which keep up with the newest living trending in Taiwan.


GPS would locate the current store that users are shopping. It could help users to receive the practical information, including floor guide and facilities.

This page includes an overview of all the brands, which can help users get more specific information. Also, users can acquire the newest events of all brands, which may emphasize promoting information.

This page recommends seasonal promoting events, which can assist users in exploring more ideas of buying suitable gifts. On the other hand, they can also review all promoting events on the current page.

We developed a prototype to demonstrate the pages we had designed. It could help us increase usability and recheck user flow, which could help us developed a high-quality product.

Once you change the banner, the visual style of the homepage would be changed. This function is designed to keep up with the newest promoting events.

Emphasize the detail information
The design of every floor follows the key visual; it can increase the impression of the promoting events and let users check the information at first sight as well.

We put important information of every floor in this page, including brand list, promoting events, which can help users find out the specific events at every floor.
